In the name in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried;  

He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead.  

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen

Peter examined the burial clothes.

Thomas examines Jesus’ wounds.

Second Glorious Mystery of the Rosary. Jesus commissions His disciples, saying, ‘Go and make disciples of all nations,’ sending them to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world.

Second Glorious Mystery of the Rosary. Jesus commands His disciples to preach the Gospel and baptize all nations in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

My father has many mansions, I will go prepare a place for you.

Second Glorious Mystery of the Rosary. Jesus assures His disciples, ‘In My Father’s house are many mansions. I go to prepare a place for you,’ giving hope of eternal life in Heaven.

Jesus gave his disciples his final blessing.

Second Glorious Mystery of the Rosary. Before ascending into Heaven, Jesus gives His disciples His final blessing and strengthens them for their mission.

Jesus ascended into heaven.

Second Glorious Mystery of the Rosary. Jesus ascends into Heaven before His disciples, returning to the Father in glory after completing His earthly mission.

Two angels ask: “Why are you looking into the sky?”

Second Glorious Mystery of the Rosary. Two angels appear after the Ascension and ask the disciples, ‘Why do you stand looking into the sky?’ reminding them that Jesus will return in glory.

“Jesus will return in the same way He went up into heaven.

Second Glorious Mystery of the Rosary. The angels tell the disciples that Jesus, who has ascended into Heaven, will return in the same way they saw Him go into Heaven.

They prayed for the arrival of the Holy Spirit.

Third Glorious Mystery of the Rosary. Mary and the disciples devote themselves to prayer in the Upper Room as they wait for the coming of the Holy Spirit.

 A mighty wind filled the room.

Third Glorious Mystery of the Rosary. A mighty wind fills the Upper Room as Mary and the disciples experience the coming of the Holy Spirit.

Tongues of fire rested upon them.

Third Glorious Mystery of the Rosary. Tongues of fire rest upon Mary and the disciples as they are filled with the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.

They were filled with the Holy Spirit. 

Third Glorious Mystery of the Rosary. The Holy Spirit descends upon Mary and the disciples, filling them with divine grace, courage, and wisdom.

Third Glorious Mystery of the Rosary. Peter boldly proclaims, ‘This Jesus whom you crucified, God has raised up,’ announcing the Resurrection through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Peter implored them to repent and be baptized.

Third Glorious Mystery of the Rosary. Peter baptizes new believers after calling them to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.

About five thousand was baptized on Pentecost day.

Third Glorious Mystery of the Rosary. Thousands are baptized after Peter’s Pentecost sermon as many people accept the Gospel and join the Church.

The Holy Spirit compels Paul to preach to the nations.

Third Glorious Mystery of the Rosary. The Holy Spirit compels Saint Paul to preach the Gospel to the nations, spreading the message of Jesus Christ throughout the world.

The Holy Spirit is in our midst today.

Third Glorious Mystery of the Rosary. The Holy Spirit remains alive and active in the Church today, guiding believers, inspiring holiness, and strengthening the mission of spreading the Gospel.

Fourth Glorious Mystery of the Rosary. The apostles gather around Mary in her final days on earth, honoring the Mother of Jesus with love and devotion.

Mary was laid in a tomb.

The tomb was sealed.

Fourth Glorious Mystery of the Rosary. The tomb of Mary is sealed after she is laid to rest, while the apostles keep watch in prayer and hope.

Mary was assumed into heaven, body and soul. 

Fourth Glorious Mystery of the Rosary. Mary is assumed body and soul into Heaven, sharing fully in the glory won by her Son, Jesus Christ.

Fourth Glorious Mystery of the Rosary. Angels and saints welcome Mary into Heaven with joy as she enters the glory prepared for her by God.

The Holy Trinity welcomes her home.

Fourth Glorious Mystery of the Rosary. The Holy Trinity welcomes Mary into Heaven as she shares in the glory of her Son and rejoices in the presence of God.

Thomas arrived and asked to see Mary’s body.

Fourth Glorious Mystery of the Rosary. Thomas arrives and finds Mary’s tomb open and empty, witnessing a sign of her Assumption into Heaven.

Entering the tomb, they discover Mary’s body was missing.

Fourth Glorious Mystery of the Rosary. The apostles enter Mary’s tomb and find it empty, confirming that she has been assumed body and soul into Heaven.

An angel told the apostles that Mary was assumed into heaven.

Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our Life, our Sweetness, and our hope. To thee we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee we send up our sighs,  mourning and weeping in this vale of tears.

Turn then most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this, our exile, show unto us, the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. Pray for us O Holy Mother of God, That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Amen.
