Luminous Mysteries

In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried;

Second Luminous Mystery of the Rosary. The headwaiter tells the bridegroom, ‘You have kept the good wine until now,’ after tasting the wine made by Jesus at Cana.

Second Luminous Mystery of the Rosary. The headwaiter tells the bridegroom, ‘You have kept the good wine until last,’ after Jesus changes water into wine at Cana.

Jesus’ first public miracle was requested by His mother.

Second Luminous Mystery of the Rosary. Water pours from the jars and is transformed into wine at Cana, the first miracle of Jesus performed at the request of His mother Mary.

Glad tidings to the poor.

Fifth Luminous Mystery of the Rosary. Jesus takes the cup of wine at the Last Supper and says, ‘This is My Blood,’ establishing the new covenant in the Holy Eucharist.

In the Eucharist we stay deeply connected to Jesus’ love.

Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our Life, our Sweetness, and our hope. To thee we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee we send up our sighs,  mourning and weeping in this vale of tears.

Turn then most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this, our exile, show unto us, the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. Pray for us O Holy Mother of God, That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Amen.
